Located in the Surrey countryside, Wisley is the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society and has been a hub of gardening excellence for over a hundred years. It started as an experimental plot created by Victorian businessman George Ferguson Wilson before being gifted to the RHS in 1903. Today, it has grown into a massive 240-acre site that balances stunning ornamental displays with rigorous scientific research and plant trials.

You could easily spend an entire day wandering through its diverse landscapes, including formal borders, rock gardens, woodlands, an arboretum, and glasshouses. The impressive curved Glasshouse, opened in 2007 for the society's bicentenary, houses tropical, temperate, and arid plants under one magnificent roof. With its historic laboratory building, vibrant seasonal blooms, and expert tips, Wisley is both a relaxing escape and a goldmine of inspiration for any gardener.
