Eyam

A coach holiday to Eyam brings you to one of the Peak District's most moving and memorable villages. Known as the 'plague village', Eyam is famous for the extraordinary self-sacrifice of its residents, who quarantined themselves in 1665 to stop the spread of disease — a story told through poignant plaques and the excellent village museum.

Beyond its history, Eyam is a lovely base for the White Peak, with stone cottages, a fine old hall and walks straight out onto the surrounding hills and dales. Bakewell and Castleton are only a short drive away. Take a look at our coach holidays to Eyam and enjoy a break with a real sense of place.
